LibreFarm
LibreFarm is a free software for farmers and it has been designed for the management of livestock. LibreFarm also includes connections to the relevant authorities so as tasks such as ordering ear tags, birth and transfer notifications, can be done swiftly and easily.
With the LibreFarm software you can also utilise e-tags, e-tag readers and animal scales, and that information can be linked to a handheld reader.
ProAbattoir
ProAbattoir is a piece of software designed for abattoirs. With such a programme an abattoir can receive electronic notification of animals ready for slaughter directly from the farmer using the free LibreFarm software. With this programme, informing the official authorities, making settlements of accounts, fulfilling EUROP classifications, compiling statistics and creating reports, can be carried out with ease. All reports and settlements of accounts can either be sent electronically, direct to LibreFarm by the farmer, or printed out on paper.
With the software a unique QR code may also be printed out for packages, to provide consumers with information about the product in question.

Who is it geared at?
The main customer groups for the software include cattle owners, authorities (EU-inspectors, veterinary surgeons...), abattoirs and logistics companies carrying out animal transfers. The programme can also be customised for use by the State. In addition to monitoring the animals, these programmes keep tabs on an ear tag ordering system, which ensures that the animals always get a tag that is unique to them. Furthermore, the softwares have been structured so that communication with other systems can easily be set up.
